Fog can thicken quickly taking driver visibility to near zero. It can lurk in patchs that you can suddenly drive into. Obviously your speed needs to stay low giving time to react to anything that may crop up. • As you drive into fog check your mirrors and slow and down using your brakes so that the lights will warn any drivers following. • Use foglights if you have them and/or dipped headlights.
