All drivers must comply with British minimum age requirements; generally, these are 17 years for cars and motorcycles, 18 years for medium sized vehicles and 21 years for large lorries and buses.  DVLA Information Leaflet D100 provides further information on GB driving licences and Leaflet INF38 covers driving in GB as a visitor or a new resident; both these leaflets are available at Post Offices.كل القوى يجب ان تمتثل لمتطلبات الحد الادنى البريطانية. عموما ، هذه هي 17 سنة للسيارات والدراجات الناريه ، 18 عاما للسيارات المتوسطة و 21 سنة من الشاحنات والحافلات. رخص قائع دينار على مزيد من المعلومات بريطانيا على رخص قيادة السيارات والمنشور inf38 يغطي القيادة في بريطانيا فالزائر او المقيم. كل هذه النشرات متاحة في مكاتب البريد.

1.1. European Community / European Economic Areaالجماعة الأوروبية / المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية.

Licences issued in the European Community and three other countries in the European Economic Area make up two groups that are treated equally.  The full list is :-الرخص الصادرة في الجماعة الأوروبية والبلدان الثلاثة الاخرى في المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية تركيب مجموعتين ذلك على قدم المساواة. القائمة الكاملة هي : -

If you are resident outside the UK, are temporarily in this country and hold full ordinary entitlement you can drive any category of vehicle, up to 3.5 tonnes and with up to 8 passenger seats, shown on your licence for up to 12 months from the date you last entered the UK whether or not you brought the vehicle into GB.إذا أنت مقيم خارج المملكه المتحدة ، بصورة مؤقتة فى هذا البلد واجراء عادي كامل الحق يمكنك قيادة أية فئة من المركبات ، يصل الى 3.5 طن وتصل الى 8 مقاعد الركاب يتضح لكم على رخصة لمدة 12 شهرا من تاريخ لكم آخر دخول المملكه المتحدة ما اذا كانت لكم الى السياره الى بريطانيا. If you also hold full entitlement to drive large lorries or buses you are only allowed to drive large vehicles registered outside the GB that you have driven into the country.إذا كنت أيضا عقد كامل الحق في قيادة الشاحنات او الحافلات الكبيرة وأنت لا تسمح لحملة كبيرة المركبات المسجله خارج بريطانيا انكم قد يقودها الى البلاد.

Residentsالسكان

Provided your full licence remains valid, you can drive small vehicles for 12 months from the time you became resident.لكم كامل على رخصة سارية المفعول ، يمكنك قيادة المركبات الصغيرة لمدة 12 شهرا من تاريخ اصبحتم المقيم. To ensure continuous driving entitlement a GB licence must be obtained before this period elapses, by exchanging your licence for a GB one.لضمان استمرار اي قيادة بريطانيا الحصول على ترخيص يجب أن تكون عليها قبل انقضاء هذه الفترة ، لكم من تبادل رخصة لبريطانيا. If you do not do this you must stop driving although you may apply to exchange your licence at any time within 5 years of becoming resident.اذا لم تفعلوا ذلك ان توقفوا القيادة رغم انك قد طلب تبادل لكم رخصة في اي وقت بعد 5 سنوات من الانضمام المقيم.

Motorcycle entitlement from the Republic of Korea is not exchangeable.دراجة الاستحقاق من جمهورية كوريا عدم صرف.

Vocational designated licence holdersمهني معين اصحاب التراخيص

New residents may not drive medium or large vehicles or passenger carrying vehicles until they have passed the relevant GB driving test.ساكن جديد لا خطة متوسطة او كبيرة او سيارات نقل الركاب والمركبات حتى اجتازت امتحان قيادة السيارات ذات الصلة بريطانيا.

Gibraltar vocational licence holders can drive for 12 months, and can exchange a valid vocational licence within 5 years of date of residency.جبل طارق المهني أصحاب التراخيص ان الحملة لمدة 12 شهرا ، وصحيح أن التبادل المهني الرخصه خلال 5 سنوات من تاريخ اقامة.

Provided your full ordinary licence remains valid, you can drive any category of vehicle shown on your licence for 12 months.لكم كامل عادي على رخصة سارية المفعول ، يمكنك دفع اي فئة من المركبات الواردة في رسالتكم الرخصه لمدة 12 شهرا.

Vocational licence holdersاصحاب التراخيص المهنيه

If you are visiting Great Britain, and you hold a vocational licence issued in Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man, you can drive British registered, or vehicles registered outside GB that you have driven into the country, for a period up to 12 months.إذا كنت تزور بريطانيا العظمى ، وانتم عقد ترخيص مهني في جيرسي غيرنسي وجزيرة مان ، يمكنك ان الحملة البريطانية المسجلين او المركبات المسجله خارج بريطانيا انكم قد يقودها الى البلاد لمدة تصل الى 12 شهرا.

Ordinary licence holdersعادي اصحاب التراخيص

You may drive in Great Britain for up to 12 months from the time you became resident.يمكنكم حملة في بريطانيا لمدة 12 شهرا من تاريخ اصبحتم المقيم. To continue driving after that time your licence must have been exchanged for the British equivalent.مواصلة القيادة بعد ذلك رخصة لكم ان تم تبادل لالبريطانية يعادلها. A licence from one of these countries can be exchanged for a GB one provided it has been issued since 1 April 1991.ترخيص من واحد من هذه البلدان يمكن أن يصل الى بريطانيا واحد بشرط ان يكون قد صدر منذ 1 نيسان / ابريل 1991.

Vocational licence holdersاصحاب التراخيص المهنيه

If you become resident in GB and you hold a vocational licence issued in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man, you may drive for 12 months and may exchange your vocational entitlement for the British equivalent.اذا اصبح مقيم في بريطانيا وأنت عقد ترخيص مهني في جيرسي غيرنسي وجزيرة مان يمكنكم دفع لمدة 12 شهرا ويمكن الحصول لكم التبادل المهني لالبريطانية يعادلها.

5.5. All other countriesجميع البلدان

Visitorsالزوار

You may drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and with up to 8 passenger seats, provided your full licence or driving permit remains valid for up to 12 months from the date of entering the United Kingdom.بامكانكم قيادة السيارات الى 3.5 طن وتصل الى 8 مقاعد الركاب لكم كامل على ترخيص أو رخصة قيادة سارية لمدة لا تتجاوز 12 شهرا من تاريخ دخول المملكه المتحدة. However, you may only drive large vehicles which have been registered outside GB and which you have driven into the country.ولكن يمكنكم فقط قيادة المركبات الكبيرة التي تم تسجيلها خارج بريطانيا وعليك الطلب الى البلاد.

Residentsالسكان

Ordinary licence holdersعادي اصحاب التراخيص

Provided your full licence remains valid, you can drive any category of small vehicle shown on your licence for up to 12 months from the time you became resident.  To ensure continuous driving entitlement a provisional GB licence must have been obtained and a driving test(s) passed before the 12 month period elapses.لكم كامل على رخصة سارية المفعول ، يمكنك دفع اي فئة السيارات الصغيرة وتبين لكم الترخيص لمدة اقصاها 12 شهرا من تاريخ اصبحتم المقيم. لضمان استمرار قيادة مؤقتة بريطانيا الحصول على ترخيص يجب أن يكون قد حصل واختبار القيادة (او) بعد مرور 12 شهرا ينقضي. If you obtain a provisional licence during this period, you are not subject to provisional licence conditions e.g.اذا كنت الحصول على ترخيص مؤقت خلال هذه الفترة ، فإنك لا تخضع لشروط الرخصه المؤقتة المعنية displaying `L' plates or being supervised by a qualified driver or being precluded from motorways.- عرض لوحات او ل 'التي تشرف على مؤهل السائق أو يمنع من الطرق السريعه.

However, if you do not pass a test within the 12 month concessionary period you will not be allowed to drive as a full licence holder and provisional licence conditions will apply.ان كنتم لا تجتاز الاختبار في فترة 12 شهرا بشروط انكم لن السماح لحملة كعضو كامل الرخصه المؤقتة وستطبق شروط الرخصه.

If you do not apply for a provisional licence within the first 12 months you must stop driving and obtain a British provisional licence with a view to passing a driving test.اذا كنتم لا ينطبق على ترخيص مؤقت خلال الشهور ال 12 الاولى ان توقفوا القيادة والحصول على رخصة مؤقتة البريطانية بهدف اجتياز اختبار القيادة. Provisional licence conditions will then apply.شروط ترخيص مؤقت ثم تطبيقها.

Vocational licence holdersاصحاب التراخيص المهنيه

New residents may not drive large vehicles until they have passed the relevant GB driving test.ساكن جديد لا قيادة المركبات الكبيرة حتى انها قد اجتازت اختبار القيادة بريطانيا ذات الصلة. Driving test candidates are required to pass a motor car (category B) test first before applying for provisional entitlement for larger vehicles.القيادة اختبار المرشحين لاجتياز السيارات (الفئة الاولى قبل تطبيق الاختبار المؤقت الحصول على اكبر السيارات.

6 .6. Driving in GB as a studentالقيادة في بريطانيا حيث طالب

Students from a Community Countryطلاب من المجتمع القطري

Students who hold Community licences may drive cars and motorcycles in GB for as long as their licence remains valid, or until age 70.الطلاب الذين يحملون رخص قيادة الجماعة قد السيارات والدراجات الناريه في بريطانيا لطالما رخصة سارية المفعول ، أو حتى عمر 70. Those who do not hold a licence must have been studying here for at least 6 months prior to taking a driving test or applying for a full licence.اولئك الذين لا يحملون رخصة تكون الدراسه هنا لمدة 6 اشهر على الاقل قبل اتخاذ اي اختبار قيادة او تطبيق الكامل للرخصة.

Students from a Non-Community Countryطلاب من غير المجتمع القطري

Students who hold a non-Community licence or an International Driving Permit may drive here for up to 12 months.الطلاب الذين يحملون المجتمع غير ترخيص او رخصة قيادة دولية هنا قد تدفع لمدة تصل الى 12 شهرا.

Those who hold a licence from a designated country may apply to exchange this for a British one up to 5 years after becoming a resident here (see Section 3).اولئك الذين يحملون رخصة من بلد معين يمكن ان تنطبق على هذا التبادل لبريطانيه تصل الى 5 سنوات بعد ان يصبح مقيم هنا (انظر القسم 3). Students who do not hold a licence, or whose licence was not issued in a designated country, will need to apply for a provisional licence and then pass a driving test.الطلاب الذين لا يحملون رخصة او الترخيص الذي لم يصدر في اي بلد معين ، ستحتاج الى طلب رخصة مؤقتة ثم اجتياز اختبار القيادة.

They will be able to take a test and obtain a full licence once they have been in GB for 6 months.وسيكون قادرا على إجراء اختبار والحصول على ترخيص كامل عندما كان في بريطانيا لمدة 6 اشهر.

7 .7. How to exchange your licence for a GB licenceكيف لكم لتبادل رخصة لبريطانيا الرخصه

To exchange your licence for a full GB one, you should complete an application form D1 (previously D750) and return it to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BT with your licence and the correct fee (see D1 for details).تبادل لكم ترخيص كامل بريطانيا ، عليك استيفاء الاستماره دال (d750 سابقا) واعادته الى الحصر ، سوانسيا ، Sa99 1bt معكم ترخيص ورسم صحيح (انظر دال على التفاصيل). If the licence being exchanged is vocational, and the original was issued in Jersey or the Isle of Man, you must also provide a medical report form D4 completed by a doctor.اذا الرخصه تتبادل الحرفي الاصلي ، وصدر في جيرسي أو جزيرة مان عليكم ايضا ان يقدم تقريرا طبيا شكل خسائر الانتهاء من طبيب. If your vocational licence was issued in an EC/EEA country you need only submit a medical report form if, on exchange, you are 45 years of age or over.لكم اذا كان اصدار الرخصه المهنيه في المفوضية الأوروبية والبلدان الأوروبية تحتاج فقط تقديم تقرير طبي ، واذا شكل على تبادل وأنتم 45 عاما او اكثر. This applies even if your vocational licence is still current.وينطبق هذا حتى اذا لكم المهني الرخصه ما زال قائما. Application forms D2 and medical form D4 are available from Post Office® branches or DVLA.استمارات ريق طبي وشكل الشخصيه المتاحة من مكتب البريد ® الفروع او الحصر.

Rules for exchangeقواعد لتبادل

The following conditions must be met before a licence can be granted in exchange for a GB one:الشروط التالية يجب الوفاء بها قبل ان تكون الرخصه الممنوحه في مقابل بريطانيا :

• you must be normally resident in Great Britain and have a permanent address here;عليك ان تكون مقيم في بريطانيا العظمى والتي تعالج دائما هنا.

• if you are a Community licence holder applying for a British test at the same time as exchanging your licence and you have moved to GB having recently been permanently resident in another state of the EC/EEA, you must have been normally resident in GB for 185 days in the 12 months prior to your application for a full driving licence;اذا انت المجتمع الرخصه تطبيقا لاختبار البريطانية في الوقت نفسه عن تحويل رخصة لكم وأنتم قد انتقلت مؤخرا الى ان بريطانيا لم المقيمين اقامة دائمة في دولة اخرى من دول الاتحاد الاوروبي والمنطقة ، لا بد انك لم مقيم في بريطانيا لمدة 185 يوما في فترة ال 12 شهرا السابقة لطلب لكم كامل رخصة قيادة.

• licences from the designated countries must be current at the time the application for exchange is received at DVLA.  Licences issued in Northern Ireland must have been issued after 1.1.76.  Licences from the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands are acceptable for exchange if valid within the last 10 years.تراخيص من بلدان معينة يجب في الوقت الحالي طلب تبادل تلقى في الحصر. الرخص الصادرة في ايرلندا الشمالية ان صدرت بعد 1.1.76. رخص من جزيرة مان وجزر القناة مقبولة للتبادل اذا كان صحيحا في السنوات ال 10 الماضية. Those issued in any EC/EEA country may be valid for exchange even if they have expired;اي تلك الصادرة في الجماعة الأوروبية والبلدان الأوروبية يمكن ان تكون صالحة للتبادل حتى ولو كانت قد انتهت.

• you must surrender your foreign licence which will be returned to the issuing authority;عليكم الاستسلام خارجيتكم الرخصه التي ستعاد الى اصدار السلطة.

South Africa - As there are two types of South African driving licences, the following will apply:-جنوب افريقيا فهناك نوعان من جنوب افريقيا رخص القيادة ، ما يلي : -

a The book of life, this is a driving licence and identity document.اي كتاب الحياة ، وهي رخصة القيادة وبطاقه الهوية. The licence part of the book will be stamped to say the applicant has exchanged their licence and the book returned to the person.الرخصه جزء من الكتاب سوف يكون مختوم الى ان مقدم الطلب قد تبادلت الرخصه والكتاب عادوا الى الشخص. For the book of life to be acceptable for licence exchange the applicant will need a letter of authority from the South African Licensing Authority.في كتاب الحياة ليكون مقبولا لطالب الرخصه تبادل سيحتاج خطاب السلطة من جنوب افريقيا سلطة الترخيص.

b The photocard licence will be returned to the South African Licensing Authority.ب فوتوكارد الرخصه يعاد الى جنوب افريقيا سلطة الترخيص.

Canadian Licences - Due to information received from the Canadian licensing authorities, it was decided to give all drivers who exchange Canadian licences automatic transmission only.  This can only be upgraded to manual upon presentation of confirmation from the relevant licensing authority of a manual test being passed or a manual test is passed in this country.الكندى بسبب رخص للبناء على معلومات من السلطات الكنديه الترخيص تقرر منح كل من حركة التبادل الكندي رخص البث التلقائي فقط. ولا يمكن الارتقاء الى تقديم دليل على تاكيد من السلطات المختصة باصدار التراخيص لاختبار الدليل او عدم اصدار كتيب الاختبار الصادرة في هذا البلد.

• International Driving Permits are not exchangeable;رخص القيادة الدولية غير قابل للتبادل.

• test pass certificates are not exchangeable except for those issued in Northern Ireland or Gibraltar when the test was passed within two years of the date of the licence application.اختبار اصدار شهادات عدم صرف عدا ما صدر في ايرلندا الشمالية او جبل طارق عند الاختبار صدر في غضون سنتين من تاريخ طلب الترخيص. However, a Northern Ireland test passed prior to 1 April 1991 is acceptable provided an application is made and the test claimed within 10 years of the date of test;ولكن ايرلندا الشمالية تجارب مرت قبل 1 نيسان / ابريل 1991 شريطة التقدم بطلب الاختبار وادعى غضون 10 سنوات من تاريخ الاختبار.

• Japanese licences must be accompanied by an official translation, available for a fee from the Consulate General of Japan at 101-104 Piccadilly, London W1V 9FN or 2 Melville Crescent, Edinburgh, EH3 7HW.اليابانيه التراخيص يجب ان تكون مصحوبه بترجمه رسمية ، مقابل أجر من القنصلية العامة لليابان في 101-104 بيكادللي ، لندن W1V 9fn او 2 ميلفيل الهلال ادنبره ، eh3 7hw.

• Republic of Korea licences must be accompanied by an official translation from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea at 60 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ.جمهورية كوريا التراخيص يجب ان تكون مصحوبه بترجمه رسمية من سفاره جمهورية كوريا فى 60 باكنغهام البوابه لندن sw1e 6aj. Motorcycle licences are not exchangeable from the Republic of Korea.دراجة الرخص لا صرف من جمهورية كوريا.

8 .8. How to apply for a provisional driving licenceكيفية التقدم بطلبات للحصول على رخصة قيادة مؤقتة

If you are required to pass a GB driving test in order to gain a full British licence you must first apply for a provisional driving licence.اذا انت مطلوب اصدار بريطانيا في اختبار القيادة للحصول على رخصة بريطانيه كاملة يجب اولا تقديم طلب للحصول على رخصة قيادة مؤقتة. To do this you should complete an application form D1 (previously D750), available from Post Office® branches, and return it to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1AD with the correct fee .لذلك عليكم ان استيفاء الاستماره دال (d750 سابقا) ، يمكن الحصول عليها من مكتب البريد ® الفروع واعادته الى الحصر ، سوانسيا ، sa99 1ad الصحيح مع الرسم.

Once you are in possession of the valid provisional licence, you must comply with the conditions applicable to provisional licence holders.  These are printed on the back of the licence itself.  You may not take a test unless you are resident in this country.  Once you have passed both theory and practical parts of the driving test, you may then apply for your full licence.عندما كنت في الاستحواذ على رخصة مؤقتة صالحة ، عليك ان تمتثل للشروط المطبقه على حاملي الرخصه المؤقتة. وهي مطبوعة على ظهر الرخصه نفسها. قد لا يتخذ اي اختبار الا انت المقيم في هذا البلد. انك عندما مرت النظريه والعملية من اختبار القيادة يمكنكم ثم طلب منكم كامل رخصة.
